Is your health cared for?

I'm disappointed that this quote is from Mike Huckabee and not one of the Democrats:

The health care system in this country is irrevocably broken, in part because it is only a "health care" system, not a "health" system.

These numbers are almost ten years old now, but look how massive the impact of obesity-related health care costs are, according to the CDC. I don't look to the government to solve every problem, but there's a role to play here that's much more serious than a new food pyramid. Instead, I'd like to see Washington play a more proactive, assertive role in cost-prevention - beginning with more funding for healthy school lunch options, better priorities for transportation, and tax incentives for bikes in addition to the breaks for hybrid cars.
