We are the ones we've been waiting for
Um no...should I be? I mean it's not a Dunkin Donuts or anything...
Hell yeah! I'm pumped!!! And relieved that I will never have to drive 2 hours for TJ's peanut butter cups again. Or at least for my remaining year in Madison.
I don't see all the hullabaloo. But then the GF lives a block away from TJ's, so maybe I just take it for granted. Why yes, I can feel the white-hot jealousy being pointed in my direction thank you very much! =)Speaking of the GF and I, I'm surprising her next weekend with a trip to to Madison (a town she's always wanted to visit but never had the opportunity). Any tips on places we need to go? Anyone up for a blog-dinner Saturday evening? It'd be fun, a whole topic we can each blog about in our own unique ways!Reply to the comments here or email me directly though, I don't want the GF to know where we're going.
Dude - we have to go mini-golfing at Vitense's new Madison-themed indoor course! It's the quintessential Madison experience (for the three weeks it's been open)! www.vitense.comDinner downtown, mini-golfing, and custard across the street - frankly, that's a perfect evening.
Dude, blog-dinner! Indoor mini golf! (With hot dog slide!) Custard! I'm in! I am leaving town on Sunday, but Saturday should work.
A Trader Joe's opened about a mile from my house last year and it is soooo ehxcellent. Also, I know it'll break your little hearts, but I won't be in Madison next weekend. Be sure to take a picture of everyone's feet (as the Po and I will surely be doing this weekend).
